Mei-tan (メイたん) is a supporting character in the Etotama series. She is the Zodiac spirit of the Sheep and ranked as number 8.
Mei-tan is young girl below average height and build-- with a cute and childish-looking face. She has short, straight pink hair and a pair of big emerald green eyes and fair skin. She wears a nurse uniform.
Being the zodiac of the sheep; she has quite fluffy hair, and two elf-like ears sticking out from her hair, and she also has a pair of horns of each side of her head. She's the third Eto-Musume to have no tail.
Mei-tan is a very friendly, sweet and gentle girl. She has a very understanding nature and will rarely get angry at anyone. She will however quickly forgive them even if they had not repented for their actions.
She takes her role as healer very seriously and will not turn anyone away despite who they are or what they may have done wrong in their past.
Mei-tan regards Takeru with respect and kindness. She begins to develop a crush on him after treating his illness. This obsession has lead to Mei-tan getting distracted when she fantasizes about Takeru and losses track of what she is currently doing.
At first, Nyaa-tan and Mei-tan almost never talked with each other. However, after the events in episode 5, they come to a level to at least call each other friends.
Mei-tan can enter humans (Like Takeru's) Sol/Lull to heal and combat their aliments. This however leaves both of them in a vulnerable state and needs someone in the physical world to watch over and protect the body.
She is able to create medicine from Sol/Lull and will often deliver them in a form of an ejection from her syringe.
